ECHAM-HAMMOZ

Due to construction in server rooms of ETH Zurich, our HAMMOZ redmine server as well as our HAMMOZ svn server will be down this Friday, November 23 2012 from 8am to 6pm.

You will not be able to access https://redmine.hammoz.ethz.ch/projects/hammoz, nor will you be able to access the HAMMOZ svn repository from your local machine (svn commit, svn update, svn log won't work).

We are very pleased to announce the first release of ECHAM-HAMMOZ (echam6.1.0-ham2.1-moz0.8).

In order to obtain a licence and download the sources, please visit the HAMMOZ distribution page:

If you do not yet have access to the HAMMOZ redmine web site, you may request an account by sending an email to Sylvaine Ferrachat (sylvaine.ferrachat at env.ethz.ch) with specifying the following information:

- your first and last names
- your date of birth
- your institute

In the final phases of debugging ECHAM-HAMMOZ (echam6.1.0-ham2.1-moz0.8), we discovered two serious bugs. It means that we have to postpone the release for an indefinite amount of time. We are working on the issue and will inform you as soon as we have a better picture of the problems and the new release date.

Please register to the HAMMOZ workshop, and specify if you will join to dinner on March 27th, in case you have not done it yet! All informations to be found on: [[HAMMOZ:2012_workshop|HAMMOZ 2012 workshop]].

Echam-6.1.00 has been officially released by MPI-Met Hamburg on Feb. 23rd, 2012! The dynamical core of source:echam6-hammoz/trunk will soon be updated with it (see #120). In the meantime, you can already consult the [[3_Scientific_Documentation#Echam6| echam6 scientific documentation]] and its accompanying [[2_Technical_Documentation#Users-guides| user guide.]]

You'll find the preliminary agenda, and accomodation information. More information will be added to this page in the following weeks.

Registration is compulsory (deadline: March 15th, 2012).

The next HAMMOZ workshop will take place at ETH Zurich on March 27-28, 2012. Please mark the dates in your calendar. More information will follow.

A 3-day programmers' meeting will be held in Juelich on December 14th-16th 2011.

A new tree in the HAMMOZ svn repository has been created to handle the echam6-hammoz post-processing tools developped by Grazia Frontoso: source:post-processing/trunk.
